The right colors characterize the seasons. The symbolism of flowers. Each month has its own bud. Combinations of materials according to the principle of the seasons

The secular life of Moscow, which absorbed Pushkin at the beginning of 1827, made it impossible to concentrate on the creative process, to immerse himself in poetry. Only at the beginning of June, having changed his place of residence to St. Petersburg and, later, to Mikhailovskoye, Alexander Sergeevich returns to thinking about the role of the poet in society, about the influence of poetic art on the worldview of his contemporaries. The result of the reflections is the poem "The Poet", sent from the estate and published in the same year by the Moscow Bulletin.

The main theme of the poem

What is the purpose of the artist in society? Is a talented person free to create, wanting only to express himself and his position, or should the desire to change the way of thinking of the inhabitants for the better be a prerequisite? What is the difference between the ability to add lines and true vocation? Does the burden of talent impose serious obligations?

As a deep and sincere person, Alexander Sergeevich did not leave the thought of his mission in this world, about which five emotional quatrains narrate in a concise form.

Everyday life, everyday life, idleness and vanity have a depressing effect on the hero of Pushkin's poem. Pessimism comes through in the opening lines. The muse is silent, the poet suffocates without inspiration and creative flight. Nothing distinguishes him from the main mass, he cannot make this world kinder and brighter.

But at an unexpected moment, not dependent on the will of the poet, a secret door opens in the soul and a person, succumbing to a higher power, reveals all the power and uniqueness of his talent. Now there are no stereotypes and social frameworks, there is complete freedom of expression and self-righteousness, the consciousness of a noble destiny and a lofty goal.

Structural analysis of the poem

It is easy for the reader to distinguish two components of a small-sized work: a dull existence among cares that do not represent true value and the happiness of the creative flight of a lyrical hero.

The adjectives carefully chosen by the author add a negative connotation to the first quatrains: “cold”, “vain”, “insignificant”.

In the second part, the general mood changes: using such epithets as "holy", "sacred", "divine", Pushkin is not afraid of pathos and exaggerations, he is confident in the highest purpose of poetic art.

In the popular iambic tetrameter, two ways of alternating rhymes compete: ring and cross. The alternative rhyme makes a noticeable difference in the mood of the story.

The sublime style and emotionally colored epithets, the opposition of vanity and inspiration, the motive of the independence of a genius from secular rules allow us to attribute this work to romanticism.

Pushkin's piercing lyrics, revealing all the facets of his extraordinary personality, colorfully and convincingly talk about what really excited the genius, about which he considered he had no right to remain silent. The relationship of a gifted person and the world, the role of poetry in solving social issues - these are the most important themes that occupy a central place in several creations, including The Poet. An artistic gift, according to Alexander Sergeevich, obliges its owner to certain actions: by the power of the word, a writer must strive to cleanse the world of dirt and vices, add beauty and justice.

Deciding to start a renovation, many of us face the difficulty of choosing: an abundance of high-quality well-known materials is adjacent to unfamiliar new ones - carriers of fresh aesthetics. And in each of these groups of materials there are many types, marked both by style-forming characteristics and by color, sometimes demonstrating a whole palette of various shades.

What to do, so as not to get dizzy from such a coloristic variety? And how to make a worthy choice, after which it will not be excruciatingly painful for wasted time and money, momentary weakness and inattention when buying? Arriving at the store and seeing, for example, wallpaper, from which it is simply impossible to take your eyes off, in the next minute you understand that this is what you have dreamed of all your life. And what - to succumb to impulse attraction? Of course yes. Only under the condition that everything else - curtains, sofa upholstery fabric, wood texture and color of furniture and doors, flooring or parquet, chandelier and accessories - becomes dependent on the first purchase, i.e. is selected carefully, without neglecting the nuances and "little things". Otherwise, a situation may arise in which, for example, a sofa purchased will be discordant against the background of your wonderful wallpaper due to a mismatch in the color tone or texture of these materials, upholstery fabric and wallpaper. And all because of the mood. Yes, yes, precisely because of the mood that these materials have is different. To avoid buying materials "with different moods", let's turn to Nature itself for help.

Follow Nature itself

The color theory “according to the seasons” will help in the scrupulous selection of similar materials, according to which the interior of each room is maintained in a color scheme corresponding to one season of the year - after all, all the wheat colors of one season are harmonious with each other, which Nature herself took care of.

Following this technique, we can introduce a huge variety of color shades into the overall color of the interior - the main thing is to follow the tonality of the colors of the selected season.

And for this you need to learn to look closely at the color combinations of the seasons and, most importantly, to capture their moods. After all, not always at hand can be all four spectral tables of the seasons that you see in front of you.

What mood do we choose?

The palette of each season is marked by one dominant color, which determines the general mood of the season, which is quite accurately conveyed to a correctly created interior in the same spirit. Therefore, you can “dance” not from the first material you like and adjust everything else to it, but from a conscious choice of the mood that we want to convey to the interior. Listen to yourself and decide what effect you want to achieve by creating decor for rooms of different purposes.

Yellow, blue, cyan...

The defining color of the spring mood is yellow - the color of sunny streams and bright primroses. The resulting mood can be characterized as revival, joy - the spring round dance of colors sparkles and sparkles.

In contrast to spring colors, summer colors seem faded in the sun and "tired" from the midday heat. The main color of the "summer" decor is cold light blue - the color of sea water and haze, which seems to envelop the entire landscape with a trembling sultry haze. The general mood of the interior in cool summer colors is beach-relaxed.

The warmest and most saturated with rich, rich colors is the palette of the “autumn” interior. The defining color of this wonderful time of the year will be orange-red. The mood is complex, but very pleasant, it is associated with the feeling when we sit down to rest after long and righteous labors, and has nothing to do with a relaxed summer.

The winter interior is recognizable by contrasting combinations, which can be very rare. The main colors are ice blue and blue. Color conciseness and contrast create an invigorating mood if the blue color does not dominate the interior.

Analyze and choose

When choosing the right mood for a particular room, it is necessary to take into account its specifics, purpose and orientation to the cardinal points. Naturally, rooms facing north are more logical to decorate in warm colors - spring or autumn, which, as noted above, have completely different moods; the southern rooms are waiting for decorations in cold colors - summer or winter, which have a generally opposite mood, which is better to choose slowly. It is important for ourselves to understand another thing: do we want to observe the color contrasts that mark spring and winter in this or that room on a daily basis, or do we strive for nuances from the summer and autumn range? At the same time, it should be borne in mind that summer nuances - the most subtle ones - bring some detachment and elegance to the interior, and autumn ones are often on the verge of soft, very cozy contrasts.

It is worth paying attention to the fact that the colors from the spring palette are related to the autumn ones, and the tones of the summer spectrum echo the colors from the winter table. Therefore, in some cases, you can borrow the desired color from the related spectrum. As a rule, professional decorators use this technique, but it is better for beginners not to risk it.

The choice of "actual mood" for the room is a purely individual matter. For example, some people see their bathtub with a characteristic beach-relaxed mood, while others need to quickly “get in shape” in the morning and the choice falls on extravagant decor in winter contrasts. Or the bedroom: in order to quickly relax, someone needs a predominance of cold blue, while others see this room in warm peach tones (autumn) or beige-pink (spring), the quality of which patronizes subtle marital relations. And the same goes for any room. Therefore, it is better to analyze and reason according to this theory yourself, taking into account the degree of contrast, the “degree of coldness” and the expected mood. Paraphrasing the well-known: nature does not have bad weather, we can say that the interiors of any season also do not have bad weather - however, the mood created out of place happens.

Not only color

But color is not the only thing worth paying attention to when choosing materials for decoration. Fabrics, wood, stone, tiles, metal flooring - all this, in addition to color quality, also has texture, texture and structure, the quality of which should correspond to the mood of the selected season. To quickly understand the principle of "textured" selection, let's start with the most understandable - "winter" materials. So, remembering the sparkling surface of ice, we can easily choose smooth, polished surfaces for the winter interior, which can be shiny or varnished. A large expressive pattern or pattern is very appropriate in the "winter" decor.

Spring - sonorous, cheerful, transparent - also implies smooth surfaces, but not as sparkling as in the "winter" interior. Fine-grained materials with a barely noticeable gloss or weak reflections are more suitable.

The cool-elegant mood of the summer decor implies semi-structured textures, and the pattern is small and with a border.

Materials in cozy autumn decoration should have a rough, loose or coarse-grained texture, and patterns should be bright and large.

We will tell you more about the selection of materials for each seasonal interior in the next issues of the magazine.

Color theory "Seasons"

Anyone can be taught to draw with a pencil, but not everyone will become a brilliant artist. For this, in addition to teaching, a gift from above is a talent. Everyone can be taught to understand colors, paints, but not everyone will become a colorist. Today the author of this book reveals the secrets of color to you, tomorrow you will learn something new about color from other books, magazines, lectures. But the best teacher - colorist - is Nature itself. Yes - yes, it is she who teaches us every day how to harmoniously combine colors. Many artists have carefully looked into natural color combinations: how colors combine in plants and animals, how the color of the sky affects objects, what is the difference between the color of the rising sun and the setting sun, how nature changes depending on the seasons...

American colorists: K. Jackson and G. Vatterman, summarizing the research experience of the old master artists (especially the teacher-colorist I. Itten) and modern color specialists, gave the world the color theory "Seasons". According to this theory, it is proposed to create color harmonies based on the “experience” of nature, namely, the natural consonance of colors according to the seasons.

The color appearance of nature is greatly modified by the seasons. But the colors of one season are very harmonious with each other. Because, due to natural phenomena, in each season one of the three primary colors dominates - red, yellow, blue. The most important reason for the dominant of one of the primary colors is the predominance of this color in the solar spectrum. It is the predominant color that sets all the other colors of each season of the year for its corresponding subtone.

What colors, shades characterize each season?

Spring.
This is a real firework of color, especially at the height of spring, when everything around is in bloom. The trees are decorated with white and pink flowers. Red, yellow, orange tulips; purple lilac; egg yellow primrose and dandelions; green-yellow green grass and the first sticky leaves on the trees - all this under the clear transparent blue of the spring sky. Joyful, light, luminous colors are typical for spring nature.

The main dominant color is yellow, which gives spring colors cheerfulness.

Summer.

It seems that this time of the year should be the brightest in terms of the number of colors and their saturation. But attentive artists noticed that "light eats color." In fact, the blinding summer sun, as it were, throws a smoky veil over all the splendor of summer colors. Therefore, the coloristic mood of this time of year is determined by muted pastel, as if burnt out tones. But what about the abundance of red, orange, pink, yellow flowers and fruits? Everything has a bluish cold undertone. Due to the prevailing color of the sky in nature, which passes the sun's rays through its own kind of blue filter.

Therefore, we can say that the main color that characterizes summer is blue.

SUMMER color palette

Autumn.
For this time of year, the colors of the crop are naturally typical: orange mushrooms, red apples, golden onions, etc. In "crimson and gold-clad forests", gardens and parks ... The colors of autumn are warm, rich, earthy, heavy.
The dominant color is red. This is because red rays predominate in the solar spectrum in autumn, under which everything in nature ripens faster.

AUTUMN color palette

Winter.

Of course, when we talk about winter, we immediately imagine white. This is the main color that dominates the winter landscape over a large part of the Earth. Plus, black, brown trees, contrasting against the background of white snowdrifts. In winter, nature has a small palette, but, nevertheless, those colors that remain look very bright against a white background: the redness of mountain ash, the green of pine needles, orange sunsets, the icy blue of the sky ... Winter colors are cold to icy, but piercingly clear, radiant .
The main color is cold blue.
